Karen Waterson

I paint in acrylics and oils. I get most of my inspiration from the beauty of our environment, by painting mostly landscapes, birds and animals. Our Mountain is a great subject as it changes all the time in all it's moods. I put a real spider's web somewhere on my canvas because when you actually look at a web it's a fantastic piece of art that the spiders engineer. The web has now become a signature mark on my paintings. My studio is my happy space and I lose all track of time when I am on a mission to see how a painting will come together. It's gives me a real feeling of satisfaction.
