Features
I think of my sculpture as an expression of my surroundings, in particular the North Taranaki coast where I live. My landforms are not representational landscapes, but a view of the earth as living and moving with all things found in nature. I’m interested in the shapes, texture and patterns of our landscape, but also our connection to the land and the need to care for, restore and protect natural and cultural sites. My home and studio borders the Mimi Estuary, an area of exceptional biodiversity and history.
