Light is fundamental to the existence of colour; without light, colour cannot be perceived. The essence of true colour lies within light itself. In my artistic practice, I explore how light and reflection can be manipulated using simple forms. These forms are designed to entice and engage the eye, drawing the viewer into a visual experience shaped by both structure and illumination.
My journey began with the creation of my first leadlight, which sparked a fascination with the potential of negative shapes within glasswork. This early experience led me to experiment with recycling waste window glass, forming it into three-dimensional geometric pieces.
