Unique opportunities for Sponsors and Patrons

Exhibitions & Events

Throughout the year, sponsored events showcasing both leading and emerging artists will be hosted by our partners. These gatherings offer patrons and sponsors a valuable opportunity to connect with up-and-coming artists, view their work, and gain insight into their creative processes firsthand. Exhibitions and events will take place at the Lysaght-Watt Gallery in Hāwera, the Percy Thomson Gallery in Stratford, and the Taranaki National Art Awards at the Ōpunake Gallery.

Taranaki Arts Trail

Artists’ studios will be officially open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm between 31 October and 9 November. While some studios will be open only on weekends, others will welcome visitors throughout the full 10 days. The TAT website and brochure provide detailed information on each artist’s studio, including opening hours, available facilities, and wheelchair accessibility.

TAT online and in print

The Taranaki Arts Trail brochure, featuring our sponsors and patrons alongside a fold-out map of participating artists’ studio locations, will be available from late August at information centres, libraries, galleries, and a range of local venues including hotels, motels, and cafés. This year, we’re excited to partner with the TAFT Garden Festival, who will also include details of our artists’ studios in their own fold-out map. All brochure information will also be shared across our online platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and our website.
