Morgan Paige Taitoko

Morgan Paige Taitoko is a New Plymouth-based artist whose work explores perception and the natural world. Her practice balances the organic and the constructed, using soft materials and subtle interventions to reshape what we see. She photographs through obscured glass, capturing distorted views of landscapes and plants, which are then translated into paintings and textiles. Taitoko invites viewers to slow down and notice the in-between moments, where images feel both familiar and slightly out of reach.
