Her childhood years were free living in the picturesque settlement of Tongaporutu, north of New Plymouth. As a child she explored the wild nature of wind-swept black sands, towering crumbling cliffs, wide open beaches and a changeable river that ebbed and flowed with the tide.
These memories are evident in her paintings capturing the beauty of nature, reflections in the sand and a unique glance at the ruggedness and peace.
Lynn’s paintings have been sold at various exhibitions, art shows and privately to people who know and follow her work. She has also undertaken private commission work.
Lynn paints mostly in oils but from time to time uses watercolour and acrylic.
In May/June 2016 Lynn was featured in “The New Zealand Artist Magazine”. She was also accepted for The NZ Art Show in Wellington in the same year.
