Kris White

Kris has her art studio and workspace near the seaside village of Oakura. Her rural outlook, with the Tasman Sea to the north and Mt. Taranaki to the south, gives Kris the inspiration for bright and colourful acrylic paintings on canvas. Her work includes everday objects like, shoes, roosters and even the humble kitchen cheese grater. The added advantage of visiting Kris's studio is that she shares it with her daughter Portia. Kris has exhibited extensively in New Zealand in national Art Shows and galleries. Kris is a multi-award winning artist with well know sculptures and fibre works on paper bags.
