Juliet Larkin
498a Saint Aubyn Street, Moturoa, New Plymouth 4310, New Zealand
Juliet explores form, tension, imbalance, texture, and emotion—often through the vessel form. Raw, textured, experimental, bold and bright, her work is driven by a fascination with materials and craft traditions, and the process of making from scratch—whether mixing clay bodies, developing glazes or making her own inks and charcoal. Her recent work goes beyond clay into other materials. In addition to sculptural works, she has a range of unique pottery for the dining table – cups, bowls, plates, vases. She looks forward to welcoming you to her studio beneath the Moturoa shops (below Tiger Town and George’s Café). Wheel and handbuilding pottery classes are also on offer.
