Isaac Petersen

Growing up by the beach in New Plymouth, I started surfing at age nine and developed a deep awe for the waves and the sea. This love for the ocean, combined with a childhood passion for art, laid the foundation for my career as an oil painter. I began painting professionally at 19 years old.

It's incredibly rewarding to have my work sought out by people worldwide, and I feel honoured when commissioned to create a "piece of significance" for clients. I also enjoy meeting those who purchase my art and often have the pleasure of personally hanging the artwork in their homes.

My paintings are a culmination of stories from my life, my home, and the places I've experienced.
