Fiona MacBride

Taranaki's fresh air and a new shed are helping me create some of my best work so far. I work in fine and cross-bred wools. I specialise in lace and colour-work to create statement pieces, lately the Maunga has featured strongly. I process my wools in small batches by combing, spinning and plying. My pieces often start with ideas, words and sketches. Everything is my own design.
