Theresa Tongi

Talofa lava, Malo e lelei, my name is Theresa Upulasi Tongi from the villages of Mota'a, Vaie'e, Alamagoto, Vailima Samoa. I am a painter who explores various mediums and practices with my main focus on creating visual stories and conversations that reflect my faith, include my family with interwoven narratives about who I am as a Samoan woman, born in Aotearoa, married to a Tongan, and a mother to four beautiful children.
