Marie Mummery

On retiring from full time work after 40 years, I was constantly searching for activities to occupy my days.
I have dabbled with many different arts and crafts over the years and was fascinated when I came across creations made with fabric hardener.
That fascination turned into a bit of an obsession so I attended a 1 day workshop and haven't stopped creating since.
Using mainly fabrics and scarves sourced from OP shops, the process turns each piece into quirky works of art.
Each piece of my work is unique, and although extremely messy, I enjoy every minute.
