Lois Parkes

I have a passion for creating humorous pieces and works that have a New Zealand or Taranaki twist. Over several decades, my work has been sold in local exhibitions and shops. My studio/gallery is named ‘Artspot ‘ as it is small, and pottery is the main media used. Some of my works spill out into the garden to hide amongst the plants. My children’s books are interactive and very popular. They teach facts using fun rhymes about our ‘kiwiana’ culture and our amazing native wildlife.
