Jodi Naik

Jodi Naik is an Artist from Aotearoa New Zealand who is of Maori (Ngati Maniapoto) English, and Indian descent. Te Ao Marama (the natural world), light, and animals are influences in the works that she creates through painting and drawing. Light has such a powerful affect on how one views a time and place, and through her paintings she hopes to capture the essence of light and its ability to bring spaces and objects to life as well as creating feelings of hope and optimism in times of darkness.
