Jeanettte Verster

Jeanette works in a wide range of media but most frequently her work is paper and/or textile based. Underpinned by an interest in ancient geometric patterns, textile arts and origami her work is a contemporary take on the traditional with experimentation and innovation being driving elements of her practice. The structure of her 3-dimensional pieces creates planes with an interplay between form, colour and changing light. Jeanette's work has been exhibited widely and she has been the recipient of several national awards.
