I got my first camera at age 10 - a Brownie 127 – I still have it and it still works! And have been addicted to photography ever since. Most of my photography is inspired by nature. Images find me - I don't go looking for images. My challenge is to capture the combination of location, subject and light as presented to me in images that will elicit an emotional response from the viewer. Photography is my relaxation therapy. The view through the camera becomes the space I focus on and live in for a while and escape from the cluttered world we live in. I'm presenting photographs on a theme this year - "Promises". Creating anticipation, showing hints of what is to come. Focussing on textures and colours before leaves and flowers evolve.
