I have recently moved back to Taranaki after many years farming in Northland, where my art involved working with old recycled Totara fence post and Hypertufa.
Since I have found Cast Glass I am developing my posts in smaller versions as well as integrating the glass faces into the amazing old fence posts, while I am still able to source them.
I still paint and work with Hypertufa but find the glass process to be very interesting with its possibilities and restraints.
