This will be my second year featuring in the Taranaki Arts Trail. I have been able to spend a lot of time in my studio in the last year developing my styles and techniques specific to the use of waste materials.
My ethos remains the same, to create high end art and design objects from waste materials. In doing so challenging the notion of what waste is and hopefully elevating it's value.
Visitors to The Brown Bach Studio will be able to view and purchase my art for inside or out primarily made from salvaged materials and featuring themes such as folk art and kiwiana.
Also I have many experimental exhibition pieces in progress made from waste plastics collected from the local community.
The Brown Bach Studio is open year round for viewings by appointment. It is situated in a quiet cul de sac with ample parking and easy access. The famous Opunake walkway may be entered from here also.
