I moved from South Korea last September.
In my paintings I use traditional Korean ink and papers (HwaSunJi). My main subjects are pine cones and pine needles.
Trying to show our inner selves through out the pine cone universes that we live in.
Various shaped pine cones are like distinctly different looking stars,
and I thought they look like our lives.
I realize that we all have different lifestyles, but every one of us stands out in some ways as if different pine cone stars have their own lights.
Every stars twinkle until they die.
I'm thrilled to meet the artists here in Taranaki areas. I'm pretty sure they can be a great inspirations for me as well as I am to them.
