Anna is an Art teacher by trade of nearly 15 years and Artist by nature. After taking a step back from teaching whilst her family was still young, Anna has pushed the boundaries of her own art.
Anna typically works in circles as an organic shape connects to life and nature, pencil, ply and paint are visited in her work at various times. She enjoys the challenge of always moving forward as an artist.
Driven by life in nature, layers, light and texture. Her current series of work explores nature, growth and protection.
Parenthood and life experience often inspires her work, staying close but not to close, allowing independence whist still able to catch the fall. The sensation of watching over and the feeling of no longer being needed. Growing and creating new life, moving on. Experiencing Loss. Nurture and protection.
