New Plymouth Potters

New Plymouth Potters Inc was formed in 1972 by an energetic group of pottery and ceramics enthusiasts. It is housed at the beautiful and historic Te Henui Vicarage.

The pottery club has a membership of over 80 members who participate in numerous club events, and activities.  They meet on a regular basis and enjoy the exchange of ideas, experiences and skills.
The club organises an annual members exhibition which gives the opportunity to all the members to showcase their work.
At the workshop you can find all the tools and equipment necessary for producing great ceramic works.

New Plymouth Potters Inc also regularly runs public classes and holds well organised workshops and club nights.

Outside the Trail weekend, all visitors are welcome on Monday evenings from 7pm-9pm, Thursday from 10am-3pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm-4pm.  Members will be happy to assist and advise visitors.  Come along if you enjoy company whilst you pot, or just get a feel for the clay!
